They said they’d give back the money for an unboxed boiler, minus a restocking fee, since we bought a different model. We were cool with that, and they mentioned that when the new boiler we also paid for arrived, they’d take the old one away and refund us. But when the delivery folks showed up, they claimed they had no clue about picking up the other boiler. Since then, I’ve been trying to reach out to them a bunch of times over the past week via phone and email, but no one’s gotten back to me.

Caution is key before making a purchase. I recently bought a Viessman boiler, which was supposed to come with a ViCare thermostat as advertised on their site. When I got the delivery on Monday, I noticed the thermostat was missing, so I shot them an email right away to find out what happened. In the meantime, they changed the price and removed the thermostat from their website, claiming it was just a ‘suggestion’ and that it doesn’t actually come with one. After countless calls to their customer service numbers, which went unanswered, and several emails, I’m still waiting for a response. I’ll keep all potential buyers posted on any news. In the meantime, folks, be cautious before you buy. Update: To cut a long story short, I received an email saying they would order a thermostat and have it delivered by Tuesday, 21/2/23. I’ll hold tight for that update. Update: The thermostat arrived this morning - big thanks to Plumit for finally getting it right. Seriously, if you nail your customer service, you could have an amazing business - that’s your weak spot, so please work on it. It shouldn’t take a Trustpilot review to get you moving; a simple phone call should suffice. A lesson learned for me as a customer: before ordering from an online store, it’s wise to call and check on customer service. If you can’t get through, it’s probably best to look elsewhere, as that’s the kind of response you might expect if issues arise. I’ve bumped my star rating up from 1 to 3 stars.

Not happy with the service, ordered a couple of lights, got a delivery date confirmed, but they never showed up. I even scheduled an electrician to install them and had to call that off. The entire bathroom remodel went well, but this company dropped the ball over just two lights! Customer support was lacking too when I called to ask about it. Seriously, don’t give a delivery date if you can’t stick to it!
